| My painting is my teacher - it inspires me and helps me find my true self. As a self-taught artist I discovered techniques whilst painting fantasy finishes on walls. This process is exciting and fills me with a sense of adventure. Layering with transparent paints, oil pastels and coloured pencils allows me to create the visible world of my fantasies.
Symbolism plays an important part in my imagery. For example the beautiful women embody female energy which is inherent in male and female. Animals represent the natural world and usually carry an environmental message. I mostly work from dark to light which is my metaphor for personal growth. Beyond this I will leave you to explore on your own. My greatest hope is that my art inspires in you an uplifting sense of beauty and mystery, perhaps even challenging you to look at life from a different perspective.
